Maidstone Swim Relay

Thank You!!!!

Swim Relay 2025 has now been and gone and what an event it was!!!  43 teams with around 240 swimmers swimming a magnificent 1903 lengths, (that’s nearly 30 miles!!!).  And over £16.5K in donations and sponsorship raised for Demelza and other local charities.  A great example of the Maidstone community coming together for a wonderful event.

Along with our wonderful army of swimmers we were supported again by Cllr John Perry, Mayor of Maidstone, who rang our opening bell and Helen Grant MP to close the event.  The cost of running it was covered by our team of business sponsors who, combined, made sure that all of the money raised by swim teams was able to be donated to the relevant charities. So a huge thank you to all of you!!

To Maidstone Leisure Centre and their team for allowing us to use the facility, to all of the volunteers throughout the day, to everyone who donated or sponsored, and to all those swimmers who met some big personal challenges and swum your hearts out, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
We’re taking some time out to discuss how it all went before we decide on timings for the next Swim Relay but as soon as we do we’ll be in touch with everyone who took part this year and will also announce it here.

In the meantime if you’d like to be involved in any way, as a volunteer, swimmer, sponsor or anything else, please let us know by emailing us here.

Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you there next time round !!!
